I recently noticed that mood boards (AKA Inspiration boards) are trending again.

What are mood boards you ask? Well, a mood board is a group of beautiful images grouped together to inspire you, for whatever creative project that lays ahead.

Mood boards are simple yet effective tools for planning, and for when you need guidance and direction.

Many interior designers will use mood boards because it helps convey their vision for a project. By adding in colour swatches and furniture pieces you can see a whole room come together before you actually purchasing anything! Great for when you have a fickle client!

I have put one together to inspire myself for general everyday good feels. (See mind-blowing mood board.)

Tips on Making A Super Dooper Cool Mood Board:

Make it as crowded or sparse as you like

Don't limit yourself. Think about textures, colours, patterns, shapes, sizes.

Go old school and collect materials to pin on a board,
